About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic IT Project Manager to drive critical digital transformation initiatives within their operations based in Coventry . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of project team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The role involves working closely with IT leadership and business stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and clients across the West Midlands region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all phases of IT projects, from initiation through to deployment and closure.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and identifying potential roadblocks.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to all levels of management and stakeholders.
- Ensure successful delivery of IT solutions that align with business strategy and user needs in Coventry .
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager , with a focus on software development and infrastructure projects.
- Proven success in managing digital transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of IT project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project management software like JIRA, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
