About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects within their organization based in Aberdeen . You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage stakeholders, mitigate risks, and drive project success in a challenging and rewarding environment. You will be a key player in shaping project methodologies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets for multiple concurrent projects.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from initiation to closure, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior project management role.
- Demonstrable experience with various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
