About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to join their esteemed organization based in Leicester . You will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration among diverse teams, and mitigating project risks. Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans , defining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timelines.
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective communication, motivation, and accountability.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or risks, and implement timely solutions and contingency plans.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through regular and transparent communication, providing status updates and performance reports.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards, company policies, and best practices in project management .
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement in future projects.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Project Manager , with at least 5-7 years of experience managing diverse projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or PRINCE2.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Experience in stakeholder management and risk assessment.
- A relevant degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
