About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager specializing in Information Technology to join their progressive team in Reading . This role is critical for leading the implementation of IT infrastructure, software development, and digital transformation projects. You will be responsible for strategic planning, execution oversight, and stakeholder management within a hybrid working model. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects , ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Manage project scope, budgets, resources, and timelines effectively, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Oversee IT infrastructure upgrades, software development cycles, and system implementations.
- Liaise with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful collaboration.
- Implement and refine project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Ensure all IT projects comply with security policies, data privacy regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management , with a strong focus on infrastructure and software delivery.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex IT projects.
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networking, cybersecurity, and software development lifecycles.
- Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
