About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a specialization in Construction to lead significant projects in Bradford, West Yorkshire . This role is integral to managing the full lifecycle of construction projects, from initial design and planning through to site execution and final handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a deep understanding of construction methodologies and regulations, playing a key role in the company's development and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, procurement, and execution of large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
- Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
- Develop and manage project budgets, track financial performance, and control project costs effectively.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project progression.
- Implement robust risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential issues on construction sites.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and high performance.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (8+ years) as a Project Manager in the Construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex building and infrastructure projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant building codes and regulations.
- Strong understanding of contract management, procurement, and financial control in construction.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field; professional qualifications highly valued.
