About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Project Manager to lead significant building projects in the vibrant city of Leeds . This role demands a leader with a deep understanding of construction processes, from initial planning and design through to final completion and handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This on-site position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects, from site preparation to project completion.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and site safety protocols.
- Manage and coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets specifications.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management .
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects and budgets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in construction project management software.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
