About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Biomedical Project Manager to oversee critical projects within the life sciences sector, based in Oxford . This role is essential for managing the development and progression of biomedical research and product development initiatives, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet rigorous quality and regulatory standards. You will collaborate closely with scientists, clinicians, regulatory affairs teams, and external partners to drive projects from early-stage research through to clinical trials and market readiness. The successful candidate will possess a strong scientific background combined with exceptional project management skills, navigating the complexities of the biomedical field and contributing to life-changing advancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of biomedical projects , including research, development, and clinical trial phases.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate activities among diverse scientific and technical teams, ensuring effective collaboration.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Requirements
- Proven experience managing biomedical or pharmaceutical projects.
- Strong understanding of scientific research, drug development processes, and clinical trial methodologies.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements within the life sciences industry (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A degree in a relevant life science, biomedical, or related field is required; advanced degrees are advantageous.
