About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team in Coventry . This role is pivotal in overseeing the successful delivery of technology-driven projects that support the company's strategic goals. You will manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and resource allocation to execution, monitoring, and final handover. The position offers a hybrid working model , combining the benefits of in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. We are looking for a results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and system implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining project scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, and risk assessments .
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedules, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Communicate project status, key milestones, and potential roadblocks to all stakeholders effectively.
- Ensure the technical feasibility and quality of project deliverables, adhering to IT best practices.
Requirements
- Proven working experience in IT project management , with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Solid technical background, with hands-on experience in software development and/or infrastructure development, deployment, operations, and maintenance.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Knowledge of at least one specific IT infrastructure or software development lifecycle.
