About the Role
Our client is seeking a driven Project Manager with a passion for the renewable energy sector to join their team in Plymouth, Devon, UK . You will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of renewable energy projects, from initial feasibility studies through to construction and commissioning. This role requires strong project management skills, an understanding of energy technologies, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineering teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of sustainable energy solutions in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle for renewable energy projects , including planning, procurement, and execution.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Liaise with engineering teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Oversee site operations and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including local authorities and community representatives.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Experience as a Project Manager , preferably within the renewable energy or utilities sector.
- Understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies (e.g., solar, wind) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
- Relevant degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
