About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and organized Energy Project Manager to lead significant projects within the energy sector , operating on a hybrid basis from Norwich . This role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and execution capabilities to deliver complex energy infrastructure or development projects on time and within budget. You will manage cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and contractors, ensuring successful project outcomes from inception to completion. This is a pivotal role for driving growth and innovation in the East of England's energy landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of energy projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively to ensure project success.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, clients, regulatory bodies, and external vendors.
- Ensure projects adhere to quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, with a significant portion focused on the energy industry (renewables, power generation, or utilities).
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, comfortable with a hybrid working model in Norwich .
