About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Project Manager to join their established team based in Leeds . This role is crucial for overseeing the successful implementation of various IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, software deployments, and system integrations. You will collaborate closely with IT departments, business units, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. This position requires a strong understanding of IT systems and project management best practices, with a focus on delivering tangible business value through technology solutions within our client's operational framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet business objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, reporting on status, milestones, and potential issues to senior management.
- Ensure IT projects adhere to company policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT Project Management , with a proven history of successful project delivery.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and network technologies.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
