About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Lead Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Manchester, Greater Manchester, UK . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple complex projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans , schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Manage and mentor a team of project managers and cross-functional project members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation and resolution strategies.
- Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings, providing clear and concise project updates, reports, and presentations.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices , methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is essential.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project management , with at least 3 years in a lead or senior management role.
- Proven experience managing projects with both remote and on-site teams , effectively balancing different working styles.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to tailor approaches to project needs.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
