About the Role
Our client is seeking a technically proficient Senior Project Manager to join their innovative team in Manchester . You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of technology-driven projects, from concept to deployment, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role demands a blend of technical understanding and strong project leadership skills, working closely with engineering, product, and operational teams to achieve strategic technology goals. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of complex technology projects , including software development, system integrations, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring efficient utilisation and delivery.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Oversee the work of project team members, providing direction, support, and performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies , security standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in project management , with a significant focus on technology projects.
- Proven experience managing software development lifecycles (SDLC) and implementing Agile methodologies .
- Strong technical background or a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and software development principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
