About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Lead Project Manager to spearhead critical projects from their Manchester office. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects that align with the company's strategic vision, while driving efficiency and best practices across the project management function. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers and coordinators, fostering their professional development and ensuring high performance.
- Oversee the strategic planning, execution, and successful delivery of high-impact projects, adhering to strict timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Develop and implement robust project management frameworks, standards, and processes to enhance organisational efficiency and project outcomes.
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear, consistent, and effective communication at all levels of the organisation.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing and executing mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management office (PMO), promoting best practices and innovation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in Project Management , with a significant portion spent in leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success in managing large, complex, and strategic projects within a corporate environment.
- Strong leadership, team management, and people development skills.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2) and tools.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
