About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee critical initiatives within their Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK office. This is a vital role focused on delivering complex projects to successful completion, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of project management principles, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage diverse teams in a structured office environment. You will play a key role in driving organizational success and fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of assigned projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans , including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, ensuring clear communication, effective collaboration, and timely task completion.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive project status reports and presentations to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure that projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget, adhering to established project management standards .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is required.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management , demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.
- Proven experience managing projects within an office-based or hybrid team environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to apply them effectively.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail.
