About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager to join their established team in Bristol, South West England, UK . This role is primarily office-based, offering a structured environment for leading and delivering critical projects. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful outcomes that align with the company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies, and the ability to manage complex initiatives within a collaborative team setting. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of assigned projects to ensure successful delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans , including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets.
- Manage and coordinate project teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and task completion within the office environment.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
- Prepare and present comprehensive project status reports, updates, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices, maintaining high quality and timely delivery of project outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management , with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects within a traditional office-based environment.
- Strong proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
