About the Role
Our client, a prominent construction firm, is actively seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead significant building projects in and around Leeds . This role demands a robust understanding of construction methodologies, site management, and contract administration. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of construction projects from planning and procurement through to site execution and handover.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on all construction sites.
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient project progress.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities to manage expectations and resolve issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management , with a focus on large-scale commercial or residential projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in contract negotiation, financial management, and risk assessment within the construction industry.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage diverse site teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is essential.
