About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical Research & Development (R&D) projects in Oxford . This role is central to managing the innovation pipeline, from initial concept development through to prototype and product launch phases. You will work closely with scientists, engineers, and product development teams to ensure timely and successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of complex R&D projects.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring alignment with R&D strategy.
- Facilitate collaboration between R&D teams, product management, and other relevant departments.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks and dependencies inherent in research and development initiatives.
- Ensure meticulous documentation of research findings, experimental data, and project progress.
- Present project updates, outcomes, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Project Management , with a significant portion focused on R&D or product development projects.
- Strong understanding of the R&D lifecycle and innovation processes.
- Experience managing technically complex projects with a degree of uncertainty.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- A background in a scientific or engineering discipline is highly advantageous.
