About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organised and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee critical projects within their logistics and supply chain operations in Liverpool . This role demands a strategic thinker capable of managing complex initiatives aimed at optimising efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing service delivery across the network. You will work with operations, IT, and supply chain teams to implement new systems, processes, and infrastructure improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of logistics and supply chain projects, from initial planning and design through to implementation and optimisation.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget management, and timelines .
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented approach.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption to operations.
- Implement and manage new technologies and systems to improve warehouse management and transportation efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless integration and operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management , with a strong focus on logistics, supply chain, or operations.
- Proven experience managing projects involving warehouse operations, transportation management systems, or supply chain redesign.
- Solid understanding of logistics best practices and current industry trends.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and supply chain analytics tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP certification is highly desirable.
