About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Lead Project Manager to spearhead significant digital transformation initiatives within their Coventry operations. This pivotal role involves guiding cross-functional teams through complex projects aimed at modernizing systems, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing customer experience. You will be responsible for defining project roadmaps, managing resources, and ensuring the successful adoption of new technologies across the business. This is a key leadership position within our client's evolving digital landscape, demanding strong vision and execution capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for digital transformation initiatives, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment to drive project success in Coventry .
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered within allocated constraints.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among diverse stakeholders, including IT, business units, and external vendors, providing regular progress updates.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing proactive solutions to ensure project continuity and success.
- Oversee the implementation and integration of new digital solutions, ensuring seamless transition and user adoption across the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management , with a strong focus on digital transformation or IT projects.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects from conception to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Strong understanding of current digital technologies, enterprise software solutions, and cloud platforms.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels within the organization.
- PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification is strongly preferred for this role based in West Midlands .
