About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a highly accomplished Senior Remote Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of strategic software and IT projects. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise from anywhere while driving impactful initiatives. You will be responsible for guiding project teams through the entire lifecycle, from planning and execution to deployment and closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs. The successful candidate will excel at managing complex dependencies, fostering collaboration among distributed teams, and delivering exceptional results in a virtual setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of multiple software and IT projects from initiation through to successful completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, resource requirements, and timelines for projects undertaken remotely.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among remote project team members, stakeholders, and vendors using digital tools.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing proactive strategies to ensure project success.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, company policies, and relevant compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management , specifically within the software development and IT infrastructure domains.
- Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex technology projects, ideally in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Strong understanding of various project management methodologies, including Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., JIRA, Asana, MS Project) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Teams).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required for this role.
