About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee facilities management projects in the Wolverhampton area. You will be responsible for managing a range of projects, including building maintenance, refurbishments, and infrastructure upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. This role requires a strong understanding of building services, health and safety regulations, and contract management. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the company's facilities, working with a dedicated team focused on operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and execution of facilities-related projects from initiation to completion.
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and procurement processes.
- Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Conduct site inspections and performance evaluations to ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management , ideally within facilities management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, construction, and M&E systems.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Relevant qualification in facilities management, construction, or project management.
