About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead diverse projects within their innovative drug development pipeline, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role is crucial for orchestrating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the successful advancement of pharmaceutical candidates from discovery through to clinical trials and regulatory submission. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including R&D, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Ensure project deliverables are met on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage external collaborations with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and other partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy); Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a track record of successfully managing drug development projects.
- Strong understanding of drug discovery and development processes, including preclinical and early clinical phases.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
