About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Property Development Project Manager to lead exciting new projects within the vibrant city of Leeds . This senior role involves the end-to-end management of property development initiatives, from initial concept and feasibility studies through to construction, completion, and handover. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a critical position for an individual looking to shape the urban landscape and drive significant development in the region, operating from a key commercial centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of property development projects, ensuring successful execution.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively.
- Coordinate and liaise with architects, engineers, planners, and construction teams.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site analysis for potential new developments.
- Ensure compliance with all planning regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
- Procure and manage contracts with external consultants and contractors.
- Report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders regularly.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in property development project management .
- Demonstrable experience managing residential and/or commercial development projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, planning permissions, and contract law.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
