About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive Renewable Energy Project Manager to drive the development and execution of green energy projects based in or near Bradford, West Yorkshire . This role is crucial for expanding our client's portfolio in sustainable energy solutions, including solar, wind, and battery storage. You will manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, contributing significantly to the UK's energy transition .
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of renewable energy projects, including feasibility, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and monitor progress closely.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Secure necessary permits and approvals for project sites.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of solar, wind, or battery storage technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with project management software and methodologies, ideally with a Hybrid work approach in mind.
