About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Renewable Energy Project Manager to oversee the development and execution of significant renewable energy infrastructure projects in the Leeds area and surrounding regions. This role requires a dedicated professional who can manage all phases of project lifecycles, from initial feasibility studies to final commissioning. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, contributing directly to the UK's green energy goals. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of renewable energy projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct site assessments, risk analysis, and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare progress reports and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Demonstrable experience (5+ years) in managing large-scale renewable energy projects (e.g., wind farms, solar parks).
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, risk management, and contract negotiation.
- Familiarity with the UK planning and consenting process for energy infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
