About the Role
Our client requires a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead significant construction projects in the Leeds area. This role is crucial for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from initial planning and design coordination to execution and final handover. You will be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, and site operations, ensuring adherence to the highest safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the construction industry and a proven ability to manage complex, high-value projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, execution, and closing of large-scale construction projects , ensuring successful delivery.
- Oversee site operations, including contractor management, resource allocation, and safety compliance.
- Develop and manage project budgets, controlling costs and ensuring financial targets are met.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant building regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in construction project management, with a strong portfolio of delivered projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies , materials, and building regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and relevant industry tools.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is essential.
- Valid CSCS card and professional accreditation (e.g., CIOB) are highly desirable.
