About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled IT Project Manager to drive their technology initiatives from their Bradford office. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of IT projects, from software development and system upgrades to infrastructure rollouts. You will collaborate closely with technical teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure successful, on-time, and within-budget delivery. This hybrid role allows for a balance of in-office collaboration and focused remote work, promoting efficiency and flexibility within the West Yorkshire tech landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects across various departments.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and risks effectively.
- Facilitate communication between IT teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
- Ensure projects align with IT strategy and business objectives, delivering tangible value.
- Implement and manage change control processes to maintain project integrity.
- Conduct project post-mortems and identify areas for process improvement in IT project management .
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager , managing software development and infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycles (SDLC), and methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with a hybrid work model, capable of effective collaboration both remotely and in-office.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Project.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Scrum Master) are highly desirable.
