About the Role
Our client is seeking a results-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead the development of industrial facilities in the Sheffield area. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction lifecycle, from initial planning and procurement through to final handover. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all construction activities for industrial projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage their execution effectively.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Liaise with clients, designers, engineers, and regulatory bodies to ensure clear communication and resolve issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings, and risk assessments.
- Manage procurement processes, including tender evaluation and contract negotiation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction project management , with a focus on industrial or commercial facilities.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
