About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead key initiatives within their drug development pipeline in Sheffield . In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful completion of complex pharmaceutical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. This position demands strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical R&D process, offering a balanced approach to remote and in-office work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams through all phases of pharmaceutical product development.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members, senior management, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project milestones and deliverables, managing scope and change control processes.
- Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry); Master's or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex R&D projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of drug development processes, regulatory pathways, and pharmaceutical R&D.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and methodologies, comfortable with hybrid work arrangements.
