About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Infrastructure Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role operates on a hybrid model, combining essential office presence with the flexibility of remote work. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of various civil infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a critical role requiring strong leadership, excellent communication, and a comprehensive understanding of civil engineering principles and construction management. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of civil infrastructure projects from initiation to closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and direct project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Communicate project status and updates effectively to stakeholders and senior management.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in project management for civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract management, and risk assessment.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing office and remote tasks in Stoke-on-Trent .
