About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Telecoms Project Manager to oversee key initiatives within their organization, based in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is critical for ensuring the successful delivery of telecommunications projects, from inception through to completion. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects, managing resources, timelines, and budgets effectively. Working closely with engineering, operations, and stakeholder teams, you will ensure projects meet quality standards and achieve strategic objectives. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills within the fast-paced telecoms sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of telecoms projects, including scope definition, planning, execution, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones.
- Manage project resources, including assigning tasks, coordinating team efforts, and resolving conflicts.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a significant portion in the telecoms industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation is a plus.
