About the Role
Our client is looking for an accomplished Civil Infrastructure Project Manager to lead diverse projects from their base in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is responsible for the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and stakeholder engagement through to budget management, execution, and final handover. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety, contributing to the development of essential infrastructure in Staffordshire and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of civil infrastructure projects, including scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, risk management strategies, and communication protocols.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Liaise effectively with clients, local authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee procurement processes and manage contractor performance.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout project duration.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction management field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in managing civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
- Familiarity with UK planning and construction regulations .
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in project management software.
