About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Senior Civil Project Manager to lead significant infrastructure projects from inception to completion in Liverpool . Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and close-out.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of project teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout project execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders, fostering positive relationships.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing effective solutions to overcome challenges encountered during construction in Liverpool .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in civil engineering project management, with a strong track record on infrastructure projects.
- Professional qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or chartered engineer status are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgets exceeding £10 million.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, contract administration, and project management software.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with experience working within the Merseyside region.
