About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Aviation Project Manager to lead significant projects within the aviation sector, based in Liverpool . This role requires a dynamic individual to manage the planning, execution, and delivery of complex aviation-related projects, from conception to completion. You will be responsible for coordinating teams, managing budgets, timelines, and resources, while ensuring projects meet technical specifications and stakeholder expectations. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to strategically manage projects and engage with stakeholders remotely, while also requiring on-site presence for critical project milestones and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize aviation projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Manage project teams, contractors, and vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Project Manager in the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Experience managing projects involving aircraft manufacturing, airport development, or aviation infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
