About the Role
Our client is looking for a seasoned Aerospace Project Manager to lead complex projects from conception through to completion within their innovative aerospace division in Liverpool . This role involves overseeing project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of cutting-edge aerospace solutions. You will manage cross-functional teams, mitigate risks, and ensure all project milestones are met in accordance with industry standards and client requirements. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills, with a proven track record in managing large-scale aerospace initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of aerospace projects, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Effectively manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Coordinate and motivate cross-functional project teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular status updates and managing expectations.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, adhering to aerospace regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field; PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the aerospace industry .
- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects with significant technical and financial scope.
- Strong understanding of aerospace development processes, technologies, and regulatory environments.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
