About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a seasoned Project Manager specializing in construction projects to oversee significant developments in the Glasgow area. This role is critical for managing all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and design to execution and final handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of construction processes, excellent leadership capabilities, and a strong commitment to project success in a site-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and quality control standards on all construction sites.
- Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement timely solutions to keep projects on track.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
- Oversee site operations and ensure efficient workflow and problem-solving on the ground.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in construction project management .
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture; professional certifications are a plus.
