About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of network infrastructure projects in Leeds . You will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering complex telecommunications projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of telecommunications technologies and project management methodologies. You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to achieve project objectives, driving success in a client-facing capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Manage and lead project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Project Manager in the telecommunications industry, managing complex infrastructure projects.
- Solid understanding of telecommunications technologies, including network deployment, fiber optics, and wireless systems.
- Proficiency in project management software and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
