Overview As a Senior Project Manager in AECOM’s Water team, you lead delivery across small-to-medium water utility projects, spanning wastewater and potable schemes within long-term frameworks. You will guide project delivery practices and support a team of PMs, driving improvements and coordinating cross-disciplinary input. This role offers involvement in diverse projects, collaboration with engineers across disciplines, and a chance to impact communities through sustainable infrastructure. Responsibilities - Provide input and support on continuous improvement to project delivery procedures
- Drive consistent PM practices aligned with AECOM PM requirements and the Project Delivery System (PDS)
- Oversee one or more Project Managers and provide support on their tasks
- Project manage more complex projects when required by region and project needs
Key requirements - Degree in engineering subject (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical)
- Experience delivering water or wastewater treatment projects
- Strong commercial, risk management and contractual skills (e.g., NEC4)
- Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer Status or APM registration
- NEC4 contract knowledge
- Project Delivery System (PDS) alignment
- Cross-disciplinary coordination with civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineers
