Responsibilities - Take full ownership of the delivery of a single construction project from mobilisation through to completion
- Lead and support the site management team to achieve programme, quality and safety objectives
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site resources to ensure efficient project delivery
- Monitor construction progress and proactively resolve any issues that could impact programme or quality
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements
- Control project costs in conjunction with the commercial team, ensuring works are delivered within budget
- Chair site progress meetings and provide regular reports to senior management
- Maintain excellent relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors throughout the project
- Oversee snagging, commissioning and final handover, ensuring an exceptional finish and client satisfaction
Key requirements - Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering construction projects on site
- Experience working with lightweight steel frame (LSF) construction systems
- Experience taking full responsibility for the successful delivery of individual construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, programming and site logistics
- Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to build high-performing site teams and maintain positive client relationships
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent decision-making skills
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
