Overview In this role you will lead water-sector projects from design through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and compliant handover. You collaborate with clients, suppliers and consultants to align on programme, budget and risk, while upholding HS&E standards. You drive robust project plans, cost control and reporting, shaping solutions that meet client needs. Responsibilities - Produce financial forecasts, monitor and control project costs, and generate monthly performance reports
- Deliver projects from design to completion, including handover documentation
- Review progress, budget, resources and planning
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, framework suppliers and design consultants
- Develop and maintain construction programmes
- Coordinate site investigations during construction
- Develop engineering solutions that meet client requirements
- Ensure production of Project Plans, risk assessments and method statements
- Prepare comprehensive estimates for additional work outside target costs
- Set high standards of leadership in promoting HS&E procedures and best practices
Key requirements - Working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme & Risk Management, and cost control
- Water/utilities sector experience preferred
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or equivalent software
- Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- CSCS manager's card, SMSTS, NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- Knowledge of NEC contracts
