Overview In this role you will lead the safe, timely delivery of major civil engineering and water infrastructure projects from award to handover. You will work within the Delivery team to meet safety, quality, programme and commercial goals while developing client relationships. The position emphasizes strong governance, risk and project controls, plus mentoring high‑performing teams. Responsibilities - Lead delivery of civil, water and infrastructure projects to achieve safety, quality, programme and commercial objectives
- Administer NEC contracts and manage change control, risk and opportunity processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners and project stakeholders
- Lead project planning, resource management and delivery performance
- Drive a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with policies and legislation
- Develop and mentor project teams to promote high performance and continuous improvement
- Ensure robust governance, reporting and project controls throughout the lifecycle
- Support successful handover and development of long-term client relationships
Key requirements - Significant project management experience within civil engineering, utilities, water or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts, commercial management and project controls
- Experience leading multidisciplinary delivery teams and managing project risk
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills
- SMSTS and IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH Construction qualification
- HNC, HND or equivalent construction or engineering qualification
- NEC accreditation or formal NEC training would be advantageous
