Overview In this role you will lead risk management for Turner & Townsend’s Natural Resources and New Energies teams, driving robust risk processes across multiple high-profile projects. You will collaborate with delivery and controls professionals to tailor risk frameworks, run workshops, and produce timely risk insights. You’ll shape mitigation actions and conduct quantitative risk assessment to support informed decision-making and project performance. Responsibilities - Plan, design and tailor risk management processes to client needs and best practices
- Facilitate risk workshops with subject matter experts
- Create and maintain risk registers and related information
- Challenge risk data for robustness and quality
- Drive mitigation actions across projects and programmes
- Develop management responses that are measurable and concrete
- Perform Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) for cost and schedule impacts
- Produce timely risk reporting using PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Power BI
- Coordinate with Project Controls to align project information
- Collaborate with supply chain to capture external risks
Key requirements - Experience managing risk across multiple projects/programmes or in a similar risk role
- Familiarity with at least one risk standard or approach (ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, IPA)
- Familiarity with at least one risk tool
- Awareness of Quantitative Risk Assessment (Monte-Carlo) techniques
- Understanding of how project controls interact with risk management
- Desirable: risk qualification such as APM Risk Certificate Level 2 or MoR
- Familiarity with NEC contracts
- UK driving license or ability to travel to client sites
- Excellent communication to convey complex risk information
