Overview In this Project Manager role, you will lead delivery of capital projects in the utilities space with a focus on schedule, budget, and quality. You will steer design development across the full lifecycle, including design & build, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet milestones. You’ll procure and manage a diverse range of consultants, oversee project controls and earned value, and ensure successful handover to Operations. Your work supports Turner & Townsend’s mission to deliver major programmes with excellence and value for clients. Responsibilities - Deliver identified capital projects in utilities with focus on budget, schedule and quality
- Drive design development across the delivery lifecycle, including Design & Build
- Manage stakeholders to ensure timescales are met
- Procure and direct consultant expertise across engineering, environmental, archaeological, and QS disciplines
- Oversee project controls, resourcing, service delivery, and payment certificates
- Produce and approve delivery plans, cash flow projections and earned value analysis
- Manage construction service providers and ensure conformance and compliance
- Supervise project close-out activities, commissioning and handover to Operations
- Contribute to development of templates, documents, systems and processes
- Identify opportunities for existing clients and support bid documentation
Key requirements - 5+ years' experience managing large or multiple infrastructure/capital projects in utilities
- Strong knowledge of project management and construction delivery best practice
- Proven ability to implement and drive programmes and performance
- Experience mobilising and managing the supply chain (design, planning, construction services)
- Experience in a complex stakeholder environment
- Relevant third level qualification preferably in Engineering or related Project management
