Overview In this role you will own civil infrastructure projects from inception through to completion within a supportive, technically strong consultancy in Belfast. Responsibilities - Lead and manage civil and infrastructure projects across all lifecycle stages
- Develop scopes, programmes and budgets with resource planning
- Serve as primary client contact and maintain strong relationships
- Support tender-stage activities including reviews and procurement planning
- Coordinate internal design teams and external stakeholders (contractors, regulators)
- Monitor progress, identify risks, implement mitigations
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations, standards and CDM requirements
- Manage project finances including cost control, forecasting, invoicing
- Prepare and present progress reports to clients and senior management
- Support business development and mentor junior team members
- Ensure quality assurance throughout project delivery
Key requirements - Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing civil or infrastructure construction projects
- Experience with NEC and Public Works contracts; other forms beneficial
- Understanding of CDM Regulations and quality management systems
- Project management qualification (e.g., APM PMQ/PPQ or NEC accreditation) or progression toward one (advantageous)
