Overview As Section 106 Project Manager you drive the monitoring and delivery of S106/CIL funding within the Planning Service. You will lead data analysis, generate reports, and coordinate funding proposals for decision by governance bodies. You act as the council’s principal expert on S106/CIL, maintaining financial records and liaising with stakeholders and finance teams. You will guide the S106 Officer Working group, produce robust project funding reports, and oversee invoicing and debt recovery with legal partners. Responsibilities - Develop, implement and manage an effective S106/CIL payment monitoring system
- Lead quantitative and qualitative data analysis and produce associated reports
- Coordinate S106 funding proposals and present to S106 Sub-Committee
- Act as lead professional expert for S106/CIL and primary contact for stakeholders
- Lead the S106 Officer Working group to draft and present funding reports
- Oversee invoicing and debt recovery with the legal team and monitor payment triggers
- Contribute to the review of S106 processes and lead the production, approval and publication of the annual IFS
