Overview Mitie seeks a Healthcare Project Manager to lead end-to-end lifecycle and variation projects within a prestigious hospital in Liverpool. You will focus on pre-construction activities and ensure compliance with HTM, HBN, CDM, and BSA while delivering high-quality facilities management services. This role involves coordinating surveys, contractor activity, and stakeholder engagement to ensure safe, on-time, and within-budget project delivery. You’ll support ISO 14001 initiatives and deliver robust financial reporting, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end delivery of lifecycle and variation projects on time and within budget
- Develop and manage pre-construction project plans across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and training
- Coordinate asset surveys, contractor activities, and stakeholder engagement for seamless FM service delivery
- Provide financial management and reporting to support decision-making
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and environmental compliance and ensure accurate documentation (O&M manuals)
- Ensure projects comply with HTM, HBN, CDM and BSA 2022 requirements
Key requirements - Extensive experience delivering Lifecycle and Variation projects in Healthcare environments with full MEP delivery
- Strong knowledge of CDM 2015, HTM, HBN, RIBA stages, and Building Safety Act (BSA)
- Proven ability to manage projects within high-risk buildings and ensure BSA compliance
- Contractual awareness within PFI is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to manage stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively
- Collaborative and forward-thinking approach with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
