Overview In this role you will lead the programme controls function for Defence projects across the Midlands, North and Scotland, ensuring accurate planning, cost, safety, and performance reporting. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop realistic delivery plans, manage resources, and maintain data standards in cost and performance systems. The position supports major infrastructure programmes for Defence clients, offering significant impact on project outcomes and governance. Your work will contribute to secure, high-stakes projects within a respected international firm known for complex, technical assignments.

Responsibilities - Lead the programme controls function for Defence projects
- Review new project remits and develop resourceable delivery plans
- Identify and resolve resourcing requirements with planning teams
- Provide efficient day-to-day reporting on plans, costs, safety, and performance
- Ensure data input meets required standards in cost/performance systems
- Manage preparation of the Investment Plan and comply with the Investment Competence Framework
Key requirements - Experience in planning and scheduling (schedule development, control, analysis)
- Proficiency with PC operating systems and multiple software applications
- Proficiency with Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up processes
- Security clearance or ability to obtain/maintain clearance
