Overview In this role you lead the Test Solution Delivery within the Test Engineering team for Leonardo’s ISP portfolio. You will coordinate a multi-disciplinary group to define and implement test strategies that align with the Sector roadmap and business plan. You’ll drive technical progress, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication to deliver reliable, end-to-end test solutions. The position offers visibility across mission-critical projects and opportunities to shape testing capability in a defence tech environment.

Responsibilities - Establish and prioritise forward load and translate requirements into test strategies and delivery plans
- Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team and clarify roles
- Foster strong relationships with customers and partners to enable project capability
- Maintain internal communications across Engineering IPTs and with leads and Project Managers
- Collaborate with Design Authorities and Systems Design Authorities on progress, risks, and mitigations
- Ensure design solutions meet end-user requirements, are reliable, documented, and environment-compatible
- Ensure alignment with the product roadmap and business needs
- Control project configuration and change management to maximise design reuse
- Manage suppliers and Make-or-Buy decisions for the project
- Capture candidate concept solutions and outcomes of trade-off studies and end-user engagement
Key requirements - Degree qualified in a relevant Science / Technology / Engineering / Maths discipline or similar experience
- Good knowledge of Test Solutions in a high tech environment
- Ability to produce clear concise engineering plans
