Overview In this role you support regional offices delivering NEC Clerk of Works and Construction Quality Monitoring services. You will work within the building surveying team on site quality, condition surveys and small projects, with opportunities to handle traditional surveying tasks. You’ll review on-site works for contractual and manufacturer compliance and coordinate specialist consultants. The role emphasizes MMC knowledge, strong communication, and independent workload management, including design and tender of maintenance works. A DBS and basic security clearance are required.

Responsibilities - Deliver site quality monitoring in Education and Justice sectors
- Review on-site works for contract, good practice and manufacturer adherence
- Coordinate and manage specialist consultants (M&E, Fire, Façade)
- Conduct condition surveys using tablet capture software
- Communicate findings clearly both verbally and in writing across online platforms
- Manage your own workload and contribute to design and tender of small to medium maintenance projects
Key requirements - Chartered Building Surveyor/Project Manager or Architect (Essential)
- A relevant construction degree or equivalent qualification
- DBS and basic security clearances for delivery
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Independent work ethic
- Team coordination and stakeholder management
- Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) knowledge
- Familiarity with NEC and JCT contracts
- Site quality monitoring and defect diagnosis
